Chandrayaan 2 Landing Failed, ISRO Lost Contact With Vikram: It’s been 47 days of Journey which was carrying the expectations and dream of 1.35 Billion people of India, The Chandrayaan Lander got disconnected with the Ground Control room.

The Lander Vikram was just 2.1 KMs above the Lunar soil, ISRO’s Chairman K Sivan stated that the initial path and decent was normal and controlled as planned but the lander Vikram lost connection or communication was lost just 2.1 KMs above the lunar surface.

This was India’s attempt to join the Elite fleet of the Countries who soft-landed on the Lunar Soil which includes Russia, US, and China, who successfully landed on the moon. The Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was present at the Mission Control Complex in Bangaluru to witness this historic event in the history of India.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi urges them to be courageous and even ask them to never lose hope, He said that the ISRO scientists have done a great job in serving the Nation in the field of Space science and Technology.

Narendra Modi stated that he’s confident that ISRO will successfully land on the lunar soil in the next attempt. He also tweeted

“India is proud of our scientists! They’ve given their best and have always made India proud. These are moments to be courageous, and courageous we will be! Chairman @isro gave updates on Chandrayaan-2. We remain hopeful and will continue working hard on our space program”.

The ISRO Chairman Sivan said that the Final 15 Minutes of Decent were the 15 Minutes of Terror. As this was the first time India was attempting to land a probe on the Lunar Soil, the earlier mission was Chandryaan 1 which was just an orbiter but it was not comprised of a lander.
